The creative force that is Basso & Brooke takes on fashion with a fresh and exciting approach yet again!  Their concept-lead catwalk collections mean that season to season they re-invent themselves with innovative prints and silhouettes.

Basso & Brooke claim that an “exploration of Louis XIV’s baroque and rococo” was the inspiration behind their Fall 2009 collection, although the rest of the[fashion] universe seems to be  comparing these prints and color pallets to the works of Russian-born artist Wladimir Baranoff-Rossiné (1888-1944), who  set out to perfect Cubo-Futurism.  I must say, I agree there! I am not getting any ‘rococo vibe” out of this collection at all; no muted earthy tones here, just pure and gorgeous tones and textures to die for!
